Melissa Lafsky is a writer and blogger based in New York. A regular contributor to The Huffington Post, she formerly practiced law at a Manhattan law firm and is the author of Opinionistas, a blog known for its relentless skewering of the corporate legal world. She has written for publications including Salon, Wired and The Columbia Journal of American Studies, and is currently working on a novel based on her experiences as a lawyer.
