An anonymous donor has offered $20 million to Manhattan’s Lincoln Square Synagogue (pictured above) — no real reason as to why, but that will take care of the shul’s $3 million for a custom glass facade and the rest of the $19.5 million funding gap.

We’d just like to take a second to say mazel tov to the “iconic symbol of Modern Orthodoxy in New York and nationally,” and would like to let the donor know that if they’d like to make a donation of a few hundred bucks to, we totally can keep a secret.
