The Obama-mania of the past weeks has left me fantasizing about the inevitable backlash. It’s not that I dislike Obama. I don’t. But if I read that many fawning profiles of my own dear mother, I’d start itching to read a bitchy takedown on her, too.
Enter Counterpunch, the premier online organ of the indignant liberal left. In their weekend edition they describe Obama as “ruthless” and “cold,” as a Judas who sold out teachers’ unions who had loyally supported him, and as a cynical, unprincipled pol who harmed immigrants and the poor when it got him a few votes. Obama’s recently published The Audacity of Hope is a “tedious read” in which he tries to sell us his “reheated Clintonism.”
That's why I say vote Ralph Nader in 2008!!

The next time I learn a weblog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I imply, I do know it was my choice to learn, but I truly thought youd have one thing interesting to say.
