Join Jewish Heart for Africa (www.jhafrica.org) on Saturday, November 5th, for a cocktail reception featuring a live African dance performance, African bazaar, hors d’oeuvres, an open bar and an opportunity to win a free trip to Malawi. All proceeds will support Jewish Heart for Africa’s work bringing sustainable Israeli technologies to African villages. In less than 4 years, they have used Israeli solar technology to power 44 schools, medical clinics, orphanages and water pumping systems in Uganda, Tanzania, Malawi and Ethiopia, improving the lives of over 150,000 African people.

“Life Without Lights”

Join Jewish Heart for Africa for a one night showing of Peter DiCampo’s traveling exhibit “Life Without Lights.” DiCampo’s work photographing energy poverty has been written up in the New York Times and Wired Magazine and won him first prize in the British Journal of Photography’s International Photography Awards.

Entry is by suggested donation of $20, and will include a raffle ticket to win one of the photographs on display. 100% of the evening’s proceeds and a portion of all photograph sales will upport Jewish Heart for Africa’s work bringing Israeli solar technologies to African villages.
