Actors Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas, who co-star in the ABC fantasy series “Once Upon a Time,” welcomed their first child on May 29.

The baby boy remains unnamed, but as Goodwin and Jimmy Kimmel joked back in April, he’s probably the first Jewish Dallas in the world. “Naming a child, though, with the last name of Dallas is a little more complicated,” she explained. “Not a first name that begins with a ‘D,’ because it gets porn-y, and nothing geographical, because it sounds like an airport.”

Goodwin and Dallas married in April, narrowly avoiding a nuptial calamity when their ketubah was lost and found on the morning of their wedding.

In 2013, Goodwin told FaithInMemphis.com that she was “shul shopping” in L.A. in an effort to reconnect with her religious heritage, and that she was committed to raising her “hypothetical future children” as Jews. So we’re guessing the baby’s name will be revealed around, oh, June 6 or 7.

One of our favorite musicians, Regina Spektor, is a officially a mom. The Russian-born singer-songwriter opened up about parenthood on her Facebook page earlier today, describing her son as “super CUTE!!!” The short missive was written in her typically effusive, fun style, and signed “mama regi & papa jack.” (Spektor’s husband is musician Jack Dishel, who performs under the moniker Only Son.) There was no mention of the baby’s name or date of birth.

Spektor was nominated for a Grammy Award earlier this year for “You’ve Got Time,” the catchy Orange is the New Black theme song, but didn’t attend the awards ceremony because she was too pregnant to fly.

Mandy Patinkin makes miracles happen. The Homeland star was being interviewed on Fox’s Good Day New York when co-host Dave Price gets up suddenly and walks out. “He’s going. His wife is in labor,” Rosanna Scotto explains.

“Oh my god, how thrilling!” Patinkin yells. “Mazel tov!”

“That is the most exciting thing I’ve ever had happen!” he squeals, and then starts clapping.

Scotto tries to continue the interview, asking about this Sunday’s Homeland finale, but Patinkin is simply too excited about the baby to answer.

“Oh, this is thrilling!” he says several more times. “We’re having a baby!”

And then he starts singing about it. We can’t wait until Patinkin meets baby Eli.
