										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.jewcy.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/bethelohim451.jpg" class="mfp-image"><img src="http://www.jewcy.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/bethelohim451-450x270.jpg" alt="" title="bethelohim451" width="450" height="270" class="alignnone size-large wp-image-128827" /></a>Park Slope&#8217;s Congregation Beth Elohim was <a href="http://www.marketwatch.com/story/brooklyn-and-the-bronx-win-the-battle-of-the-boroughs-2012-05-22">one of the winners </a>of a $250,000 preservation grant from the National Trust for Historic Preservation and American Express. The other grant winners are the Brooklyn Public Library, New York Botanical Gardens, and the Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum in the Bronx. </p>
<p>Rabbi Andy Bachman <a href="http://www.tabletmag.com/scroll/100367/beth-elohim-wins-250k-preservation-grant">told The Scroll&#8217;s Marc Tracy</a> that the money would go towards ongoing restoration efforts. </p>
