Our faith in humanity was lowered a few more notches today when it was announced that  the ghostwriter of the fake Holocaust memoir, Misha: A Mémoire of the Holocaust Years, must be paid ten million dollars because her publisher didn’t realize the book was a fake.

Playing devil’s advocate, maybe the ghostwriter, Vera Lee, was kept in the dark as to exactly how the book would be sold as ( as a memoir opposed to fiction), but it would be nice to think that somebody isn’t that stupid.
