Jewish porn star James Deen gave GQ the skinny on how he stays, well, so skinny. The universally well-liked adult film actor credits his Semitic genes for keeping him away from fatty foods—you know, because they upset his stomach.

I’ve always been a fan of vegetables and fruits. If I’m going to grab a snack, I’ll have a piece of cheese or an apple. That also benefits my physique and health. In addition to that, I have what is commonly referred to as “Jew Stomach.” It comes with the religion. It’s just where everything goes wrong—you get acid reflux, IBS type of things. Go talk to a group of Jews, and I guarantee almost every single one is going to be like, Oh my stomach. I’ve got an ulcer. Acid reflux! I got Crohn’s. It’s always something. So because of that I have to eat low sodium, because it upsets my stomach.

But also, he reminds us, he gets a good workout at his day job:

My whole point is that because of the on-camera sex, I have this insane style of stunt sex. It actually is very physically strenuous. It’s a good workout. All the positioning and weird things. My doctor said so! Doctor-approved workout.

That apparently works up a pretty big appetite. Here’s Deen ordering every item on the menu at a fast food taco joint—just watching gives us a stomach ache:

Jewish porn star James Deen, last seen in this bizarrely riveting New York Times Magazine piece about his upcoming film, The Canyons, which co-stars the volatile (yet sort of sympathetic?) Lindsay Lohan, has taken his acting prowess elsewhere recently—and it’s not X-rated.

“Do you have an equivalent to a chalupa?” Deen asks the drive-through attendant at Del Taco in California, before proceeding to order the entire menu in a weirdly entertaining episode of James Loves Food, a video series we’re upset we only just heard about.
