On November 7th, most of Team Jewcy will be planted on a corner somewhere in Brooklyn, watching the runners in the ING New York City Marathon, and thinking “gee, we wish we could do that.” We will cheer for each and every runner in the annual event, but we will scream a bit louder for the 60+ runners for The Blue Card. The 76-year-old nonprofit provides financial support to destitute Holocaust survivors in the United States.

The team is made up of runners from 11 states and 4 countries, and each participant had to raise at least $2,500 to take part in the popular marathon; not only are they getting the chairty notice, the runners are directly helping the cause.
