Sketch comedy group Half Day Today! just released a brilliant parody of the Wolf of Wall Street trailer, with the outrageously successful social news website Buzzfeed as its target. Instead of watching Jordan Belfort fling hundred-dollar bills into a wastebasket, we see Buzzfeed founder Jonah Peretti skimming the cream off the internet to create a viral content farm, without crediting any of his sources—because it’s a blog-eat-blog world out there, ya dig?

Writer/director/actor Brad Woolf is grossly luminous as the Donnie Azoff/Jonah Hill stand-in, and there are hilarious one-liners (“I love nostalgia, I love cat pictures, and I love getting people hits”) and Buzzfeed-style headlines (“21 Things You Forgot You Remembered”) peppered throughout.

From the “producers” of “Puppy Can’t Get Out of Bowl,” I present to you, Shosh, Hannah, Marnie, and Jessa all recreated as fluffy, little kittens.

The whole video: from voices, to setting, to music is spot-on what you would imagine (if you’ve ever imagined “the Girls” as felines).

“I just had a crazy realization that running water from the sink, is probably the same as the water in our bowls,” says Shosh the kitten. Somehow even as a kitten, Shosh is as neurotic as ever.

“I’m going to tell it like it is. I’m attracted to you and let’s face it, you are attracted to me,” says sultry Jessa cat to an adoring puppy behind the glass door.

If Girls’ big win at last night’s Golden Globes (Best Actress in a Comedy Series + Best Comedy Series) is any indication, we have not nearly reached peak Girlsification—the think pieces and Lena Dunham interviews will only proliferate as Season 2 progresses. And, of course, so will the parodies.

This latest offers a glimpse of how intolerable Girls would be were it set in Los Angeles instead of New York:

Accompanied by Paul Shaffer, Sandler’s parody included references to bed bugs, Anthony Weiner, and Bloomberg’s soda ban, while staying remarkably truthful to the song’s structure: “The puke on your stoops every Sunday morn, Times Square losing all its porn, Original Ray’s Pizza closing to ya. But Hallelujah, Sandy screw ya, we’ll get through ya.”

Liel Leibovitz, who spent the last two years writing a book about Leonard Cohen, argues in The Scroll that Sandler’s version—raunchy and humorous as it may have been—actually restored a sense of soulfulness and authenticity to Cohen’s masterpiece that had been lost in the countless, mindless covers we’ve been subjected to over the years. Leibovitz writes:

To most Cohen aficionados, Sandler’s performance was, at best, an act of mindless vulgarity, or, if you wanted to take a less charitable view, sacrilege. I understand why the critics, including many of my dearest friends, feel that way. To hear Cohen’s elevated words about the yearnings of the spirit and the flesh reduced to jokes about Mark Sanchez fumbling into someone’s butt is enough to send even the kindest soul into paroxysms of rage. But the condemners, I believe, are missing the point: Sandler wasn’t covering Cohen’s song as much as he was covering the cascade of covers of “Hallelujah,” virtually all of which had robbed the song of its might in much more vulgar ways.

So does this mean we won’t have to hear Sandler’s “The Hanukkah Song” at every Hanukkah party we go to anymore?

Got to be honest, I was never a huge Debbie Friedman fan as a kid. And that’s because in the Reform vs. Conservative movement’s musical throwdown, I was squarely on the side of my man Craig Taubman, he of “Friday Night Live” fame in Los Angeles, legendary 1980s song leader of Camp Ramah in California. That said, I know of no Craig Taubman cover bands. The same cannot be said for Debbie, who has clearly inspired hundreds of songleaders across the country, and now, a Fab Four of her very own.
