Oh no!  How is Ezra Koenig going to buy his Fall clothes from the L.L. Bean catalog?  The model used on the bands most recent album, Contra, is suing the band:

The lawsuit filed on Wednesday identifies the band, their label XL Recordings, and photographer Tod Brody as the guilty parties to the tune of at least $2 million. According to TMZ, model Kirsten Kennis claims that her signature on the photographic release for the photo allegedly taken around 1983 was forged and the band never verified the legitimacy of the release.

Kennis is seeking damages for misappropriation of identity arguing that “the album design, in which the Photograph is featured prominently, was a substantial factor in generating recognition and buzz for the Contra album, thus increasing sales and profits. (Via Impose)
