]]> Today, on the 11th day of the seventh month, we celebrate Free Slurpee Day. Technically, it’s called 7-Eleven Day (a copy editor’s nightmare), but the important thing here are the free Slurpees.

However, lest you think overcaffeinated Starbucks-goers are the only chroniclers of Kashrut, the Chicago Rabbinical Council has what seems to be the definitive Kosher Slurpee List (at least through December 31):
