Sketch comedy group Half Day Today! just released a brilliant parody of the Wolf of Wall Street trailer, with the outrageously successful social news website Buzzfeed as its target. Instead of watching Jordan Belfort fling hundred-dollar bills into a wastebasket, we see Buzzfeed founder Jonah Peretti skimming the cream off the internet to create a viral content farm, without crediting any of his sources—because it’s a blog-eat-blog world out there, ya dig?

Writer/director/actor Brad Woolf is grossly luminous as the Donnie Azoff/Jonah Hill stand-in, and there are hilarious one-liners (“I love nostalgia, I love cat pictures, and I love getting people hits”) and Buzzfeed-style headlines (“21 Things You Forgot You Remembered”) peppered throughout.

In October 2013, four-year-old Sruli Muschel became an internet sensation when a video of him reciting the “You can’t handle the truth” speech from A Few Good Men went viral. (It’s adorable.)

Earlier this week, Sruli, now five, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live with a hilarious new bit: Matthew McConaughey’s “First rule of Wall Street” schtick from Wolf of Wall Street.

Amazingly (and quite appropriately) Sruli hasn’t seen either of these films. His prodigious memory and flair for acting were discovered accidentally, when his father jokingly taught him to say, “You can’t handle the truth” in response to the prompt “I want the truth!”

“It started out as a goof,” said Ben Muschel over the phone. “But then he asked, ‘What comes next?’ So I did the whole speech, and taught it to him line-by-line. He learned it very quickly. We were amazed.”

Sruli’s mom, Shani Muschel, said their son won’t perform for just anyone, but that he was excited to appear on television and had learned his new lines with ease: “He has a good ear for picking things up.” To wit, Sruli knows the 39 melachot (activities prohibited on Shabbat) off by heart. And his memory for details is just as good as his memory for dialogue—he recently reminded Ben, unprompted, about the distinction between using bar soap and liquid soap on Shabbat.

Funny guy/serious actor Jonah Hill couldn’t walk into a Best Buy “in character” for fear of recognition, so instead, he decided to prank call the store in the voice of his Wolf of Wall Street character, Donnie.

The 30-year-old actor, whose real surname is “Feldstein,” told Jimmy Fallon that the phone calls proved especially helpful for mastering the voice of his character, because he had to get used to talking with prosthetic teeth while doing a Long Island accent.

Jonah spent “hours” on the phone with various Best Buy employees, and gave a special shout out to his favorite store, the Honolulu, Hawaii Best Buy.

Well, all that prank calling must have paid off, because Jonah is nominated for an Oscar under the category of “Best Supporting Actor,” for his amazing work in the Martin Scorsese directed film.

He was also paid “peanuts” in comparison to his other co-stars. Jonah received $60,000 for the seven-month production; $60,000 is apparently SAG’s minimum wage.
