Actress Rashida Jones’ new dramedy slated for HBO, takes place among the buffers and files, in a nail salon.

The 37-year-old Parks & Recreation star is leaving the NBC series this season, and teaming up with producing partner Will McCormack for their new series, Claws. Deadline reports this as the third sale for Jones and McCormack’s Le Train Train production company. The two also worked on the Samberg starring love story, Celeste and Jesse Forever.

Claws is described as: “midnight-dark workplace dramedy-noir about a nail salon in Florida and the strange, dangerous women who work there.”

Deadline also reports that Eliot Laurence from “The Big Gay Sketch Show” will write and co-executive produce.

James Franco and Gary Shteyngart are lovers and friends in Shteyngart’s book trailer for his first memoir, Little Failure. Shteyngart gathered up what seems to be a bunch of kick-ass friends and acquaintances, such as Jonathan Franzen, Alex Karpovsky, and Rashida Jones, to showcase the self-deprecating author preparing for his book release.

In the video, Franco and Shteyngart sit for morning coffee in matching fuzzy, pink bathrobes–but not before Franco gives Gary a smooch–and proceeds to tell Gary he’s written a memoir entitled, “50 Shades of Gary, An Erotic Memoir.”

Keep watching to see Shteyngart vent on his psychiatrist Jonathan Franzen’s couch, pay $13 for non-Fair Trade coffee from “barista” Karpovsky, and pop prescription pills in a sea of people gushing over Franco’s new “erotic journey.”

Though she attempted to clarify that she wasn’t shaming any woman for her sexual choices, and that she was just attempting to open a dialogue, she managed to upset the online populace just the same.

But hey, that’s social media. You can tweet, “I love my mom #friendship #family,” and receive a backlash of expletives so fresh, even Urban Dictionary could not define.

Now, Jones’ has taken her argument to Glamour’s January issue.

I’m not gonna lie. The fact that I was accused of “slut-shaming,” being anti-woman, and judging women’s sex lives crushed me. I consider myself a feminist. I would never point a finger at a woman for her actual sexual behavior, and I think all women have the right to express their desires. But I will look at women with influence—millionaire women who use their “sexiness” to make money—and ask some questions. There is a difference, a key one, between “shaming” and “holding someone accountable.”

Though Jones is expressing a need for more than just the sexualization of female musicians, it’s not unlikely that her call will fall on deaf ears. After all, if the record companies are making money off of the artists, who, at least, put forth the image of enjoying their place in the sexualization. It’s a game where everyone involved has a hand.

Some people think not. Sinéad O’Connor got blowback after writing an open letter to Miley Cyrus, warning her of the dangers of her constant sexual imagery: “The music business…will prostitute you for all you are worth…and when you wind up in rehab… ‘they’ will be sunning themselves on their yachts in Antigua, which they bought by selling your body, and you will find yourself very alone.” Miley responded by basically calling her crazy.

Jewcy crush Rashida Jones continued her talk show awesomeness (remember when she called out Mel Gibson for hating Jews on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens?) when she stopped by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Thanksgiving.

They sang an incredible four minute-long holiday-themed pop song parody medley, hitting all the major targets: Taylor Swift (“We are never, ever, ever wearing ugly sweaters”), Carly Rae Jepson’s “Call Me Maybe” (“Pass the Gravy”), and even the somewhat tired Gangnam Syle (“Open Eggnog Style”). Jones obviously has a secret good voice, and pulls off the whole thick-framed-glasses-with-a-dress look.

But the highlight by far was when they started whistling the tune of Flo Rida’s catchy, gross-sounding song “Blow My Whistle,” and Fallon pulls a dreidel out of his pocket. “Can you spin my dreidel baby, dreidel baby, let me know,” Fallon rasps. “Girl I know that you’re not Jewish so I’ll start real slow.” It’s weird, since Jones is Jewish, but whatever. Then she breaks it down: “Just put your fingertips together and you say Shalom,” which is definitely not how we play dreidel at my house, but again, whatever. Do your thing, Jones:

Drake’s bar mitzvah-themed music video for “HYFR,” featuring Lil Wayne and a particularly inspired chair-lifting scene, won Best Hip Hop Video at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards. Even better, Jewcy favorites Rashida Jones and Andy Samberg presented him with the award (it feels like only yesterday Jones and Drizzy were reportedly dating!). Mazels all around, people.

Drake, who took the stage with Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and that guy from the video who looks like he went to your high school, spoke earnestly about his Jewish roots while clutching his brand new moonman statue. “The video is about being me, being black and Jewish,” he told the crowd before dedicating the award to anyone out there “who’s ever had a long walk home by yourself.”
