Melissa Broder is a publicist at Penguin, a poet, and editor of La Petite Zine. Naomi Firestone is Director of Publications at the Jewish Book Council, and Director of the National Jewish Book Awards. Rachel Shukert is a playwright and author. Her second book, Everything is Going to be Great, will be out next month on Harper Perennial. Melissa, Naomi, and Rachel all work in the different facets of the industry, but are part of the new generation that is helping to redefine publishing. With that in mind, we asked these three ladies to come to Jewcy HQ and discuss, among other things, working in the publishing industry in 2010.
