For the thirtieth year in a row, the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival has put together another stellar lineup to entertain the Jewish film buffs of the Bay Area.
Here are our three must see picks for this weekends shows in Palo Alto and Berkley.

There was a lot of talk leading up to this years Festival, about the open letter signed by seventy Bay Area scholars, protesting the "decision by the San Francisco Jewish Community Federation to restrict its funding to groups and projects that hold what it deems to be acceptable views on the State of Israel."
That’s what makes the film Budrus so interesting.
The documentary that Nicholas D. Kristof calls this year’s "must-see," is a riveting view of Palestinian protesters in the West Bank that might not fall under what some people consider "acceptable" in terms of its portrayal of Israel, but we suggest you don’t let that stop you from checking this out.
