Here are today’s top stories in no particular order:

  • Air raids in Gaza have killed at least four Palestinian militants. At least five Qassams have been fired in southern Israel in response.
  • President Obama has tapped Florida emergency manager W. Craig Fugate to head FEMA.
  • Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has threatened to cut off gas lines to Ukraine in the next two days if supplies aren’t paid for.
  • Breanna Woodside, a Kentucky toddler who was the subject of a nationwide Amber Alert, was reunited with her mother yesterday after being found with her father in Monterey, Mexico.
  • Many are holding their breath as California prepares to decide on the legality of the ban on same-sex marriage. The California Supreme Court is expected to have standing room only this afternoon.
  • Comedian Robin Williams has canceled shows in Florida due to a health scare. He is expected to be fine after a week of rest. Actress Mariska Hargitay has also been hospitalized for lung problems, but is expected to recover fully.
