First there was Alien, and then there was Aliens. Those were good.
Then there was another Alien movie, and another one. The only difference between Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection was one huge thing: Winona Ryder was in Resurrection, making it the only reason to bother waiting for it to come on HBO.
Now, according to The Frisky, there might be another reason to care about that franchinse yet again: Natalie Portman:
"Supposedly, she’s the actress favored by director Ridley Scott, although there’s no word out yet on who Portman might play in the sci-fi flick. Scott says the prequel will be a dark one: "The film will be really tough, really nasty. It’s the dark side of the moon." It seems unlikely Portman would play a young Ripley, seeing as she looks nothing like Sigourney Weaver and is about a foot shorter, but I guess we’ll just have to wait and see."
Ridley, just a word of advice from us over at Jewcy: if you get Natalie Portman, the Jewish boys will come out in full force. We can almost guarantee it.
