By the time you read this, somebody will probably have published a new quasi-academic tome about Bob Dylan and his impact on the 60s, his impact on America, his impact on culture from 1962 till the end of time; or maybe another 300-page study on what his lyrics “mean.”
Obviously this isn’t the worst thing in the world. Bob Dylan is Bob Dylan. He’s the game changer, and today is his 70th birthday. There is nothing we can say that hasn’t been said, or that anybody will attempt to say, so instead, we’re gonna wish Bob the best, and post this video of him jamming with Chabad that you’ve probably seen once or twice.
