In a room full of the world’s most successful models, Michael Kors was praised by each of them, as Annie Leibovitz photographed the scene for Vanity Fair’s September issue. The women—including Helena Christensen and Hillary Rhoda— said that the classic designer is “hilarious,” “full of life,” and incredibly “empowering” to women, loving them for who they are and not for their top model status, said the famous top model, Karolina Kurkova, without a hint of irony.
Kors danced, smiled and took it all in, accepting the love as a validation. “At this point in life I’m allowed to use my name as a description or an adjective and look at them all and say, ‘You know they’re all very Michael Kors.’”
