Scarlett Johansson is the new face of SodaStream! The Jewish actress has officially signed on as the first-ever global spokesperson for the at-home carbonation system, and will star in its upcoming Superbowl ad.
So, why is ScarJo, a relatively non-main stream actress, pursuing the path to carbonation? Simply because she loves SodaStream.
“I’ve been using Sodastream for five or six years. It’s a product I found on my own, just because I love carbonated water, but I hated the waste of bottles,” she says in a behind-the-scenes clip for the commercial.
Johansson’s first ad for the Israeli-based company will air during Super Bowl XLVIII on Feb. 2, 2014.
Her favorite flavors? Dr. Pete, the Ginger Ale, and the Orange Soda (my favorite). If ScarJo has it her way, you’ll be off to purchase your very own SodaStream post-Super Bowl. But if you’re throwing a party, get it before–you’ll never run out of beverages!
