After several weeks off due to being good Jews, the Sunday Mazel team is back to scour the Weddings/Celebrations section of the Sunday New York Times to fine the wedding of the week.
For our first Sunday Mazel of the Fall, we will admit that we were impressed by the punk rock, Critical Mass, wedding on a boat, but alas, our hearts were won by the foodie couple.
Yes, Laura Goodman, publisher of Dining Out Chicago will be exchanging vows with Joseph Jacobs later today. Joseph makes coupons for college students, which if you can remember all the way back to your broke-ass university days, were much needed.
These two probably won’t have any trouble getting reservations, but just in case, we’re pretty sure Joseph could pull some strings and get the two of them into any dining hall in the county if they got really desperate for dinner plans.
