While last week was something of a slow one, this Sunday there is no dearth of weddings to choose from in the Sunday announcements.
And even on a week when the front page of the “Fashion & Style” section has a piece on the Chelsea Clinton’s big fat Jewish wedding, Jewcy gives it up to Edward Farley and Matthew Horowitz for taking the big plunge, and getting married at a spa resort.
Also, screw your wedding, Matthew’s father (Matthew is listed as “the bride” in the announcement) is the vice president and general merchandise manager for Girl Scouts USA. Not only will you get to relax in a hot tub after all is said and done, but you will eat Thin Mints until your belly explodes.
We do the Sunday Mazel every week because we love weddings, but in the case of Matthew and Edward’s wedding, we sorta want to crash it, because it seems really fun.
