You know it’s going to be slim pickings for the week’s Sunday Mazel when the lead wedding announcement has a caption that reads, “The couple met as Snow White and Hugh Hefner, in costume at a rugby tournament.” So we’re going to go with bullet points today, and finding as much good as we can.
- We’ve got Jenna Adelberg and Andrew Silver getting married at the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia to make everything alright. No word if the name of the venue was a metaphor for the couples decision to wait until the big night to finally mutter the words, “for fuck sakes, please touch me, I can’t wait any longer!”
- Staci Siegel and Barry Ritz tied the knot in Hotlanta: she’s a tax manger, he works as vice president in the global research unit of Bank of America Merrill Lynch. The announcement also goes on to tell us that Barry’s job makes him “responsible for production, print and distribution of research reports pertaining to companies in the United States.” Oh, hmmmm. That sounds really…interesting!
- The wedding of Dr. Alicia Roddy Buchwalter and Christopher Koenig Trimble proves once again that if somebody has a last name that sounds like a concentration camp, they probably aren’t Jewish.
