I guess I’d rather let him figure that out on his own. Am I cheering for Foreman just because he’s a Jew? Probably, but you can be confident in also cheering for Foreman because he is good and has a very real shot at winning. Most odds makers have Cotto as a heavy favorite (8/1 last I checked), but I think that also reflects a much higher level of betting on Cotto when compared to Foreman. Ever since he endured a brutal beating at the hands of Antonio Margarito (who probably had loaded gloves) Cotto hasn’t been quite the same. Give it to me straight: is my boy going to make his people proud? Yes. If he wins, Foreman will hold a victory over a long-time top ten pound for pound boxer who, until very recently, was ducked by some of the biggest names in the sport (including Floyd Mayweather). If he loses, it will be to one of the best in the division who, after a few missteps, is re-establishing his career over a very game opponent. Either way, Foreman should make you proud.
