The Big Jewcy: A-Trak

This Montreal-born turntablist, DJ, producer and currently record label exec. has been on his grind since the mid 90’s. His career began in Montreal, honing his skills as a hardcore hip-hop turntablist. His rise to domination began in 1997, when he became the first Canadian and youngest person, at the age of 15, to win the esteemed DMC World DJ Championship. Around this same time, he became an honorary member of the now defunct but legendary turntable collective, the Invisible Scratch Picklez, alongside DJ greats like Mix Master Mike and DJ Q-Bert.  His current day accomplishments include being the personal touring DJ for Kanye West, creating and running Fools Gold Records, developing his own notation system for record scratching and melting dance-floors everywhere. A-Trak is an all around sweet dude and holds it down for the tribe.
