One day, when they write the Please Kill Me of post-9/11 Brooklyn, they could probably fill a lot of pages with stories about or involving Zachary Lipez and his band Freshkills.  Having already released two albums full of Jesus Lizard meets DC punk catharsis, the band is getting ready to release their third full length.  But the band may have to take a backseat to the lead singer’s writing career, as he readies his collaboration with Yeah Yeah Yeah’s guitarist Nick Zinner and book designer Stacey Wakefield.  Take Me off the Guest List (Akashic) showcases Zinner’s already-famous photography, and Lipez’s essays, which are a cross between Rimbaud and Down and Out in Paris and London, except set in 21st century Williamsburg.

  • It is perfect time to make some plans for the future and it is time to be happy. I’ve read this post and if I could I wish to suggest you few interesting things or tips. Maybe you could write next articles referring to this article. I want to read even more things about it!

  • Nice post. I learn some thing very complicated on different blogs everyday. Most commonly it is stimulating you just read content off their writers and rehearse a specific thing from their website. I’d would prefer to use some while using content on my small weblog whether or not you do not mind. Natually I’ll provide you with a link on your web weblog. Appreciate your sharing.
