Rachel Shukert is the author of Have You No Shame, And Other Regrettable Stories. Her new memoir, Everything is Going To Be Great, will be published by Harper Perennial in July of this year. Her writing has been featured in numerous publications, including Salon, McSweeney’s, Gawker, and The Daily Beast as well as on National Public Radio. She is a contributing editor to Tablet Magazine and Painted Bride Quarterly. Rachel is also a performer and playwright, and is currently developing her first feature film with Yarn Productions in Los Angeles. She lives in New York City.
Sam Apple, a graduate of the creative nonfiction MFA program at Columbia University, is the publisher and editor of The Faster Times. He has served as the editor-in-chief of New Voices Magazine and has written for The New York Times Magazine, The Financial Times Magazine, ESPN The Magazine, and Slate.com, among many other publications. His first book, Schlepping Through the Alps, was a finalist for the PEN America Award for a first work of nonfiction. In 2005, he received the annual Faux-Faulkner award. His second book, American Parent, was published in 2009 (Ballantine). He lives in Philadelphia.
Jami Attenberg is the author of three books of fiction: Instant Love, The Kept Man, and, most recently, The Melting Season. She has written for The New York Times, Print, Salon, Nerve and many others. She has been blogging since 1998 at whatever-whenever.net.
