Jewcy Zeitgeist: Italian Prime Minister in Hot Water, Global Warming Causes Deaths, and Gay Teen Takes Prom Queen

Here are today’s top stories in no particular order: 

• The Prime Minister of Italy might be on his way out after a scandal involving an 18-year-old aspiring model and a supposed "inappropriate relationship" with the girl 54 years his junior. His wife filed for divorce after he attended the girl’s 18th birthday party and presented her with a pricey diamond necklace.

• President Obama is set to name a top cybersecurity official, saying "cyberspace is real, and so are the risks that come with it."

• A new report says that climate change is causing over 300,000 deaths every year through sickness, hunger, and natural disasters. That number is expected to double in the next twenty years. But don’t worry, global warming still doesn’t exist.

• The G-20 Summit is coming to…Pittsburgh? The summit will be hosted by the city in September, a move Obama says will show the world how progressive a city Pittsburgh is, demonstrating its limitless future.

• Gay teen Sergio Garcia beat out eight other girls for the title of Prom Queen at his high school. His school is proud to be so progressive–but isn’t having a gay male as queen–instead of, you know, king–just furthering stereotypes?

• The infamous house from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off is on the market for a mere $2.3 million. The four-bedroom, 5,300 square-foot house is just outside of Chicago. [Editor’s Note: John Lennon once said "I don’t believe in Beatles, I just believe in me." He was the walrus. I could be the walrus, but I’d still have to bum rides off of people.]
