I’m stuck here in the middle of the country (Chicago), and I get to read about the shows that Tinariwen will be playing on the east and west coast that I won’t be attending. Do you know how hard that is???
Like we reported last week, Tinariwen is playing two shows in New York (Summerstage and with The Sway Machinery on the 27th). Now we get word that on June 20th, Tinariwen will be joined at the Hollywood Bowl with Baaba Maal, Yeasayer, and our favorite Hebrew punk funkers, Fools Gold.
That’s a lot of Jews playing those shows.
