We’ve proven time and time again that we are fans of Julie Klausner, and for that I tried my damnedest to read her piece on The Awl about "the recent life of the American musical." But I think things got a little too weird for me, and to be honest, I had no clue what they were talking about. All I know is that there are a bunch of capitalized words and Otto Dix paintings.
Is there anybody out there that speaks this language that could tell me exactly what they’re talking about?
