Title:

The Chosen

Author:

Chaim Potok

Description:
My recommendation is Chaim Potok’s "The Chosen" (I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s ever recommended this, but what the heck.) My rationale is that the book teaches of the fear, suspicion and dislike shared by two acquaintances from different worlds, and how all of these give way to the realization that they have a common heritage and tradition, leading the way to friendship.
