I don’t know about you, but for every time I look at Web MD to self-diagnose myself with something, I cross-check it with a database for Jewish genetic diseases just to make sure it isn’t something handed down from my Eastern European ancestors. With all this obsessive research, I’ve never been able to find a name for the affliction that seems to strike three out of five Jewish men of Ashkenazi descent which I like to call No Arm Definition Syndrome, or N.A.D.S. There seems to be no known cure for this condition, and until I read Drake’s profile in this weekend’s New York Times, I’d never realized that he suffered from it just like I do. But unlike me, Drake is mega-famous, and maybe with all the hoopla surrounding his new album, Take Care, he could use some of the spotlight to draw some attention to this dreaded problem?
