Eric and Jeff Rosenthal are two brothers with a penchant for spittin’ serious flow. The comedy-rap duo known as ItsTheReal like to curse and rhyme, and actually get rappers to join in on their mixtapes and videos (giving them lots of satire street cred). The Upper West Side based bro’s released their debut comedy rap mix tape with DJ Drama this past April called, Urbane Outfitters Vol. 1, which features songs such as “Beef wit us” feat. Maino and “Sun’s Out, Guns Out” feat. Freeway.
Their first video off their latest mixtape titled “Jews for Jesus Piece,” is an ode to the way rappers rep their faith and let their Jesus piece’s hang low. This video is very well done (aesthetically) and pretty hilarious. They’re cookin’ in the kitchen, shuffling alongside a ghost-riding Zipcar, and throwing Bounce sheets all up in the laundromat.
“Ben Baller says since my necklace Kosher.”
Enjoy, all you young G thangs!
