Loren Ellis’s visionary “photographic paintings” on the subject of 9/11 appear in three places in this month’s magazine (a first for Zeek): on our cover, and illustrating two articles. They evoke both the destruction of five years ago, and the possibility of redemption. Her record book, consisting of stories and images, will be read on September 11 at the Donnell Library on West 53rd Street in Manhattan, opposite the Museum of Modern Art. For more information visit www.artforhealingnyc.org.
