Sure, 1970 may have been the century's peak year for college freshman introspection. And sure, nobody should be held accountable for anything they say (or think, or do) as a freshman in college. But this factiod from the New York Times write-up of this year's census data still reminds me why current youth culture sucks so very much:
That might help explain a shift in what college freshmen described as their primary personal objectives. In 1970, 79 percent said their goal was developing a meaningful philosophy of life. By 2005, 75 percent said their primary objective was to be financially very well off.
ETA: Wait. Actually, it reminds me of why youth culture is always sort of stupid. "Developing a meaningful philosophy of life" isn't any less selfish than being "financially very well off" — just less superficial. Damn kids.
Great write-up, I¡¦m normal visitor of one¡¦s website, maintain up the nice operate, and It is going to be a regular visitor for a lengthy time. prishtina travel
I’m impressed, I have to admit. Genuinely rarely will i encounter a weblog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you’ve hit the nail to the head. Your idea is outstanding; the catch is an issue that inadequate consumers are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy i always stumbled across this around my search for some thing about it.
