Moshe Aryeh Friedmann, the rabbi who was seen kissing Mahmoud Ahmadinejad at last month's Iranian Conference on the Holocaust, and who we reported, just yesterday, is also being divorced from his fleeing wife, is now being barred by the Jewish Community of Vienna, where he resides.
The Jewish Community of Vienna barred a radical ultra-orthodox rabbi who participated in December's Holocaust conference in Iran.
Moshe Aryeh Friedmann, who rejects the state of Israel, was accused by the Jewish Community of Vienna of harmful conduct, particularly through his contacts with "revisionist-historical, anti- Semitic circles." The community also denied his status as a rabbi.
Ironically enough, the Jewish Community of Vienna borrowed much of the same rhetoric that Friedmann's wife used in her divorce papers, the day before. Can't say we fault them for recycling.
