If you’ve lived in Florida or visited your zadie and bubby there, you know that it’s an incredibly strange state. I’d dare to say that it’s maybe the strangest state in the country. My guess is that’s because it’s basically three different states in one; has a population of made up of Jews of every stripe, Cubans, college students, and loads of white trash up north, and is hot as hell.
Today things took a new turn when Republican-turned-independent Governor Charlie Crist found himself served with a lawsuit by former Talking Heads leader David Byrne for using the bands 1985 song, "Road to Nowhere", in a campaign ad without Byrne’s permission. 
Does this make Florida weirder, or is it simply another example of how incredibly cool David Byrne is?
