Jeremiah Lockwood Takes Us To Little Senegal To Talk Food

During The Sway Machinery’s recent trip to Mali, from which they returned with their new album, The House of Friendly Ghosts, Vol. 1,  they were fully immersed in the culture of Mali.  While they were all affected by the musical culture of the country, the impact of which can be heard on the new album, I was curious about other experiences the band had on the trip.  As Jewcy’s food editor, my first desire is of course to learn about the food experiences one has had while traveling abroad, so I asked Jeremiah if he would meet me in New York’s Little Senegal neighborhood to talk about the food of Mali and some of his other memories from the trip.
