I always hear people going “there’s more to Israel than just (insert anything from hummus to beautiful women to strife),” but always failing to mention that there’s more to the place than just the American misconception that trance is the national music of the Holy Land.
The metal scene in Israel is thriving. One Google search of the term “Israeli metal music” yields an abundance of results, and now the world outside of the tiny country is figuring it out. Some of the biggest metal scenes on the planet develop and thrive in random places like Brazil and Norway — so why not Israel?
Nowhere is this more noticeable than by the fact that one of the world’s most well-known metal labels, Relapse Records, signed the Tel Aviv three piece, Dukatalon, and are releasing the bands album, Saved by Fear, this week.

I admire the useful facts you offer inside your articles. I will bookmark your weblog and also have my children verify up here often. I’m very sure they’ll learn a lot of new things right here than anybody else!
Fantastic blog! Do you have any tips and hints for aspiring writers? I’m planning to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you suggest starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m completely overwhelmed .. Any tips? Kudos!
