Book Club: The Red Leather Diary

Lily Koppel, author of The Red Leather Diary: Reclaiming a Life Through the Pages of a Lost Journal, spent the past week guest blogging on Jewcy.  She began by painting a picture of her discovery of Florence Wolfson’s red leather diary and how she tracked down its owner.  Then she shared the things she learned about Florence’s life as a young woman in the 1930s.  She followed up with a post about how she slipped into the world of this depression-era young woman, and even talked about making a movie from the book.  For her final post, she left us with her view of the opening scene of what may in fact become a Red Leather Diary movie.  Want more pages out of The Red Leather Diary?  Buy the book!
