American humorist and hobnobber to esteemed folk of stature worldwide, Art Buchwald died today at 81. For a small man who dreamed big, Buchwald was magnamiously prolific. Playing scribe to over thirty books and picking up a Pulitzer along the way for his syndicated column.
As The Chicago Tribune pointed out today, even in his death, Buchwald sought out comic relief.
The comic columnist's passing had no sooner been announced Thursday—nearly a year later than his doctors had predicted—than a video of him appeared on The New York Times Web site.
"Hi, I'm Art Buchwald and I just died," the humorist says, an impish smile playing across his face.
To view Art's video, go to the NY Times site and scroll halfway down the page. His is one of the many famous people The NY Times will be profiling as part of their "Last Word" series in which they interview legends and record their obits online.
Naturally, Art has to be a trailblazer. And get the last laugh. Lucky for us, we're a pretty easy crowd. We'll take what we can get.
Thanks for every other wonderful article. Where else may anybody get that kind of information in such a perfect method of writing? I have a presentation next week, and I’m at the look for such info.
Spot on with this write-up, I genuinely feel this website wants far more consideration. I’ll possibly be once more to read much more, thanks for that information.
One thing I’d really like to comment on is that fat reduction plan fast is possible by the correct diet and exercise. Your size not merely affects appearance, but also the overall quality of life. Self-esteem, depressive disorder, health risks, along with physical capabilities are affected in excess weight. It is possible to do everything right and at the same time having a gain. If this happens, a condition may be the reason. While a lot food but not enough workout are usually accountable, common health concerns and traditionally used prescriptions may greatly increase size. Kudos for your post in this article.
Dead pent subject matter, thanks for entropy.
