1) An old problem is now back. (I posted about this problem 3 years ago!) My computer sometimes thinks I'm pressing the Windows key, so when I'm typing and I hit an "r" for example, I get the "run" command box. I don't remember how I made this problem go away, but it sure is friggin' irritating.
2) Anything that needs scrolling, like a webpage or a word document, scrolls very slowly. This is a new problem.
Any advice?

Sounds like your Windows key has some jism build-up. That will make it sticky. Carefully pry the key off the keyboard and give it a little cleaning.
