Earlier today, Michael posted on the Judith Regan axing over at News Corp and speculated (even offering up free "Shalom Motherf*ckers" shirts to anyone with info) as at what exactly Dame Judy said to Rupert to get him quite so pissed off. Well, aside from ok'ing the "OJ' book.
The ever-so-snarky Gawker.Com penned a similar plea, but decided to up the ante a bit in a post entitled "Media Bubble: Putting The Jew in 'Judith Regan'":
Apparently, what finally got Judith Regan canned was making anti-Semitic comments. When are people going to learn that you cannot fuck with the Jews? Also, if anyone out there knows what she said specifically, get in touch. We'll pay top dollar to either of you Jew lawyers who were on the other end of the phone.
I can't decide if I find the above offensive, distasteful, or funny. And then I find myself asking if a Jew wrote it and if that somehow condones the smart-ass tone of the comment. There's a lot of that unapologetic irreverence going around these days…
Good publish, introducing this to my website today, cheers. >
