You know that blog I posted about earlier today? Want to know how I found it?
Not by trolling the internet looking for content, and not by doing a Google search on “important Jewish crap laurel can blog about.” No, I didn’t have to do a lick of work to find that post… it was forwarded to me by a friend of mine who subscribes. (Thanks, Aimee!)
Until today I’ve put off subscribing to religion blogs, for fear that I’d tumble down a slippery slope. But after I put up that post this morning I realized I’ve made a mistake.
Because while I decidedly DON’T want to scroll through every article in ever local newspaper from every town I’ve inhabited, getting daily content from good blogs… mailed right to my inbox… will save me a good deal of time.
So today I’m subscribing. Sign me up!
I’m subscribing to all the good religion sites I refer to here regularly, and I thought I’d suggest that you do the same.
You don’t have to bother with all of them, but think about subscribing to one blog that puts up one daily post (avoid any that do lots of posts each day… you’ll quickly come to hate the constant stream of SPAM). As a way of staying in touch with the Jewish world.
Sometimes you don’t want to go looking for things. Sometimes you want things to find you instead!
Your article always include a decent amount of really up to date info. Where do you come up with this? Just saying you are very imaginative. Thanks again
